Pure worship and heavenly calling: the last piece

  The articles dedicated to the "heavenly calling" and "number of the anointed" have touched and profoundly revised,   in the light of the Scriptures   , delicate topics. This is because the faith not only of Jehovah's Witnesses but also of other Christian religious denominations is based on these assumptions. Reviewing these doctrines means re-discussing the whole scaffolding of authority as well as the hope of thousands of people and other important things including the very definition of God's people. In the article titled “Who Must Take the Emblems?”   we have seen that it is not only the "anointed" who have to do it but   all Christians   and therefore any possible counting of the "participants" is unscriptural as well as useless. We have seen that God does not choose and exclude people a priori but reserves the prize for those who push forward and strive vigorously.   “   And I have other sheep, which are not of this fold;   even those I must lead, and they will listen to my voice, and they will become one flock with one shepherd” -   John 10:16 According to some, these words indicate the group of Christians with the “earthly hope,” also identified as that “great crowd” seen at Revelation 7:9. Meanwhile, it is necessary to specify that the components of the great crowd are those "who come from the great tribulation", that is, who survive it, and therefore it is not correct to identify those "with earthly hope" with this term because many people will be resurrected to live   on   earth and this distinguishes them from the large crowd that   survives   . All who will ever live on earth evidently had “the earthly hope” but not all with the earthly hope can be identified with the great crowd of Revelation.
