1260, 1290 and 1335 days

But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge."- Daniel 12:4 NiV

In Daniel 12:11, 12 we read ... “And from the time when the daily [sacrifice] was suppressed and the disgusting thing that caused desolation was placed, there will be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.
"Happy is the one who remains waiting and who arrives at one thousand three hundred thirty-five days!"

This part is fundamental to complete the picture of Revelation.
Let's simply read what is written there by forgetting what we know or believe we know.
In the last two chapters of Daniel we talk about this "disgusting thing" and a king who says "wonderful things and blasphemies".
It is also said that this king would have made war against the saints and would have tripped or defeated them and that he would have reached the holy mountain of the Decoration - Daniel 11: 32-45
These important details, without any forcing, bring us back to the book of Revelation in particular to chapters 11 to 13.
In addition, Daniel 12: 1 speaks of Michael who would have risen in favor of "the sons of the people of Daniel" and therefore a time of distress would have begun "as has not occurred since the world's beginning until now” - Daniel 12: 1; Matthew 24:21; Revelation 12:12
It 'all too obvious that Daniel and John are talking about the same length of time.
Starting from this assumption, therefore, even the days described in the two books should match.
However Daniel speaks of 1290 days while Revelation speaks of 1260.
Why?
Daniel's question is ... “How long it be to the end of the wonderful things?" - Daniel 12: 6
In practice, Daniel, troubled by everything he saw, must have wondered when everything would end (that is, when the disgusting thing would end up shattering the Holy people and when this warmongering political system would end).
The angel replies ... "From the time when the daily sacrifice was suppressed and the disgusting thing that caused desolation was posed, there will be 1290 days" - Daniel 12:11
So before we go any further, we need to ask ourselves a series of questions.
1) Who offered daily sacrifices in the past?
2)What is the modern counterpart?
3) What is the “disgusting thing”?
4) Comparing with the book Revelation, when is daily sacrifice suppressed?

We should now be able to answer these questions.
1) It was the Levite priests who offered the sacrifices.
2) By now we have understood that a part of the messianics who preach are the elect 144,000 (Jews) who have the task of restoring true worship (the daily sacrifice is, precisely, their preaching work - Hebrews 13:15)
3) The disgusting thing, in Revelation, is the wild beast that ascends from the abyss (the same one that will destroy Babylon the Great) or the political-military coalition led by Russia and the event that interests us in this context is the suppression of daily sacrifice (which ends with the killing of the two witnesses dressed in sackcloth).
4) Comparing then with the book Revelation ... let's examine the following.
The suppression of continual sacrifice (that is, the preaching work done by the elect) is described in chapter 11 of Revelation when, "the wild beast ascending from the abyss will war against them and win and kill them" - Revelation 11: 7

Is this precisely the moment when the continuous sacrifice is suppressed?
It really seems so because afterwards we hear high voices in heaven saying: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and his Christ" and therefore we speak of the birth of the son (the kingdom of God).
So this is the event from which to count 1290 days.
These 1290 days are "the end of the wonderful things", that is, the last acts of this system of things according to the question asked by Daniel.
We know that once he chased Satan on the earth (after the killing of the two witnesses dressed in sackcloth) he gives at the beast all his power and authority, and Revelation 13: 5 says that it will have authority to act only for 42 months.
These 42 months, or 1260 days, are the same as those mentioned in chapter 11 where the angel tells John to "leave out the courtyard that is outside the temple sanctuary" because it would have been given to the nations that would have trampled on it, precisely for 42 months.
To recap ...
First there is the preaching of the two witnesses dressed in sackcloth.
The disgusting thing or wild beast, described both in Daniel and in Revelation, suppresses daily sacrifice when he kills them (Revelation 11: 7; Daniel 12:11); from this moment 1290 days must be counted which lead to the "end of these things".
The wild beast is free to step on the courtyard for 42 months (i.e. 1260 days; see Revelation 13: 5) and therefore we must ask ourselves: what happens between the death of the two witnesses and the moment when Satan gives the beast all its power ( who will act, trampling on the people of God, for 42 months)?
So let's read ...

And after the three and a half days spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell upon those beholding them. And they heard a loud voice out of heaven say to
them: “Come on up here.” And they went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies beheld
them. And in that hour a great earthquake occurred, and a tenth of the city fell; and seven
thousand persons were killed by the earthquake, and the rest became frightened and gave glory
to the God of heaven The second woe is past. Look! The third woe is coming quickly.
And the seventh angel blew his trumpet. And loud voices occurred in heaven, saying:
The kingdom of the world did become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will rule as king forever and ever”.
And the twenty-four elders who were seated before
God upon their thrones fell upon their faces and worshiped God,saying: “We thank you,u Jehovah
God, the Almighty,v the One who is and who was, because
you have taken your great power and begun ruling as king. But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time for the dead to be judged, and to give their reward to your slaves the prophets and to the holy ones and to those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.”
And the temple sanctuary of God that is in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant
was seen in his temple sanctuary. And there occurred lightnings and voices and thunders
and an earthquake and a great hail.
And a great sign was seen in heaven, a woman arrayed with the sun, and the
moon was beneath her feet, and on her head was a crown of twelve stars, and she was pregnant. And she cries out in her pains and in her agony to give birth.
And another sign was seen in heaven, and, look! a great fiery-colored dragon,l with seven heads and ten horns and upon its heads seven diadems; and its tail drags a third of the stars of heaven, and it hurled them down to the earth. And the dragon kept standing before the woman who was about to give birth, that, when she did give birth, it might devour her child. And she gave birth to a son, a male, who is to shepherd all the nations with an iron rod. And her child was caught away to God and to his throne. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and sixty days. And war broke out in heaven: Mi cha·el and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven. So down the great dragon was hurled, the
original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan,d who is misleading the entire inhabited earth;e he was hurled down to the earth,f and his angels were hurled down with him. And I heard a loud voice in heaven say:
Now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ, because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down, who accuses them day and night before our God! And they conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word
of their witnessing, and they did not love their souls even in the face of death. On this account
be glad, YOU heavens and YOU who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because
the Devil has come down to YOU, having great anger, knowing
he has a short period of time.” - Revelation 11:11-12:12

At the death and resurrection of the 2 witnesses, the kingdom of the world really becomes the kingdom "of our Lord and his Christ" as the Kingdom of God is born (now complete with the number of sealed) and the purification of the heavens and the judgment on earth begins .
In fact chapter 12 talks about the birth of the son.
Then war breaks out in heaven and at the end of it Satan is thrown to earth.
From that moment he (Satan) really has "a short period of time" because he can only play with his beast for another 42 months - Compare Revelation 12:12 and 13: 5 with Revelation 19: 19–20: 2
The "short period of time", despite what has been taught, coincides with the great tribulation (period in which Satan is particularly angry) and has a duration of 42 months.
So if the spiritual resurrection takes place in a "blink of an eye" the 30 days of difference are the period that includes the birth of the Kingdom of God and the duration of the war in heaven or a little less.
In keeping with this, 30 days was the period of time when the people of God mourned the death of Aaron (the first High Priest) - Numbers 20:29
So, after a 30-day interruption, the new High Priest began to officiate.
The death of the two witnesses "dressed in sackcloth" leads to an interruption of priestly services for 30 days (they are resurrected just 3.5 days later but apparently they cannot begin to officiate immediately also because the heavens must be purified).
This 30-day difference is also the abbreviated days of which Jesus spoke as the great tribulation does not begin immediately after the killing of the two witnesses - See Matthew 24:22.
Satan and his demons, in fact, will be busy fighting a war in heaven that they will lose but that will keep them busy for a while.
Even at the time of the first followers of Jesus, messianic Jews, the days of tribulation were shortened in the bud and not towards the end; the withdrawal of the Roman armies (which took place at the beginning of the siege) allowed them to "flee to the mountains" and save their lives.
From this, as mentioned, we can also derive the duration of the great tribulation which begins when Satan is thrown to the earth, just 30 days after the killing of the two witnesses, and it lasts 42 months.
Finally the angel concludes by saying ... "Happy is he who remains on hold and who arrives at one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days!" Daniel 12:12
Why do you become happy?
Evidently because, after the disgusting thing has unleashed its fury on all the people of God, it has now run out of time.
It will no longer be able to touch the people of God.
From there shortly comes the moment of God's judgment on the beast and on the rest of the world.
These 45 days could include the period of the exodus of the messianics of the nations to the promised land and the time of the destruction of Babylon the Great and therefore of the satanic system.
If 40 days are the days necessary for the gathering of the people of God, the last 5 could concern the time necessary for the destruction of Babylon the Great, the despair of the rulers and the joy of the people of God, therefore the war of Har-maghedon .

From Daniel's description to that of Revelation there is a difference of 30 days. This difference mainly concerns the duration of the war in heaven

In conclusion.
The story of Revelation is in chronological order and the 1290 days of Daniel are the 1260 days (+30) of Revelation ...
1) The general (spiritual) resurrection will only begin after the killing of the two sackclothed witnesses described in Revelation 11.
2) This will allow the passage of the kingdom of the world to God and Christ as well as the complete restoration of true worship.
3) Only at the birth of the Kingdom of God does war break out in heaven which will last 30 days or less.
4) The great tribulation will begin 30 days after the killing of the two witnesses, that is, at the end of the war in heaven.
4a) The great tribulation will last 42 months which are also "the short period of time" left for Satan to act.
5) Armageddon will begin after these 42 months, probably after 40 days of exodus of the people of God (a period in which he can no longer be touched by the beast).
6) The last 5 days concern the destruction of Babylon the Great, the despair of the rulers and the war of Har-maghedon - Revelation 17: 1, 2; 18: 9-20; 19: 19-21

P.S. There are other details inherent in these events and therefore the article is far from complete. Fundamental will be the study of Revelation chapters 12 and 13, which will be dealt with soon, which complete the picture of the 1290 and 1335 days.
